EverSource Adds Advisory Team in Jackson, Mississippi

EverSource Wealth Advisors welcomes Mississippi-based financial advisor Joseph Simpson who will lead the EverSource Jackson team with offices in Jackson and Oxford. A longtime Mississippi resident, Simpson has been serving clients across the state for more than 25 years with a focus on financial planning and asset protection.
Simpson says his move to EverSource is a strategic step in taking his business to the next level. “The EverSource Total Support System will enhance our ability to serve clients with excellence. We love that we can pull client reports, make trades, and open new accounts all within the same system.”
Beyond operational and investment management support, EverSource provides a like-minded culture and community for Simpson’s practice. About the move, he says, “We began by looking for a partner who will enable us to effectively integrate our core values into our client relationships."
The EverSource Jackson team also includes Mary Kathryn Sharpe, who has worked with Simpson since 2017 as Lead Client Concierge running day-to-day business operations. Associate Damarkus Lodge directs the practice’s sports management division serving professional and collegiate NIL (“name, image or likeness”) athlete clients.
Throughout his financial advisory career, Simpson says he has made it his mission to help make clients’ wealth “work as hard as it can.” He starts by understanding what is important to clients — whether retirement, a child’s education, or preserving assets for heirs — then creating a personalized, integrated financial plan to pursue their financial goals.
A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Simpson has completed the rigorous CFP® certification and continues to meet ongoing renewal requirements. Along with his experience as a financial advisor, he is a managing member of several business ventures, including an initiative that brought the first full-service Starwood Hotel, The Westin Jackson, to the state of Mississippi. Simpson’s expertise in federal and state tax credits, incentive programs, and asset preservation strategies equips him in advising business clients.
